GREEN CHEMISTRY AND SUSTAINABILITY GROUP

The Green Chemistry and Sustainability Group (GCSG) is one of the leading research group in North Central Nigeria , led by Professor Y.N. Lohdip and J.J. Gongden aims to promote the development and implementation of green and sustainable chemistry researches and related technologies into new products and processes. The GCSG provides high quality research and training programmes and develop strategic research partnerships with global corporations and world-leading universities and research organisations. The Group is made up of five members from different science-based disciplines.  Some of the benefits of the group included:

1. Sponsorship to attend and present papers in international conferences
2. Access to scholarships for postgraduate and post-doctoral studies
3. Collaborative research etc

VITAL RESEARCH GROUP

The Vital Research Group is an interdisciplinary research group aimed at carrying out researches that directly touch the lives of the people and the environment. It utilizes the principles of chemistry to solve problems at the cheapest possible cost. It carry out its activities in the following steps:

1. Identify the problem
2. Strategize and plan towards addressing the problem
3. Innovate ways of addressing it
4. Apply the innovations and proffer solutions
5. Advice the affected
