Dr. J. J. Gongden has a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Chemistry) from ATBU Bauchi, Nigeria and Masters, Doctorate Degrees in Applied Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
Dr. JJG is an innovative researcher in Chemistry who has supervised over 100 undergraduate research projects in different fields of chemistry. His research focus is based on “New Innovations” in the area of Inorganic, Industrial and Green Chemistry towards addressing problems in a sustainable manner for a sustainable future for the benefit of all.
He has won several awards in the field, some of which offered him the opportunity to travel outside Nigeria (Ethiopia, Kenya, Germany etc). His innovative research won him the second best Ph.D research in the country in 2012 by Procter and Gamble and was sent to Germany for 8 months internship training and research.
He has held several positions outside the academic both politically and spiritual. Presently serving as a political consultant on strategy and innovation to succeed where others failed. A stakeholder in the business.
He is an active member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and Institute of Chattered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON).
Joel is an innovator and strategist. He believes in identifying the problem, finding solution to it using the cheapest means. “Taking research findings beyond the laboratory and shelves is his watchword”!
